Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery with each state responsible for its lottery locations.
Mega Millions, the game that holds the record for the largest jackpot in North American history, began on August 31,
1996 as The Big Game. The first drawing took place on September 6, 1996, with six states participating: Georgia,
Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia. In May 2002, the multi-state game was given the new name of
"Mega Millions," New York and Ohio became member states, and the game matrix and prize amounts were changed to offer
players more excitement. Washington, Texas and California also became members of the Mega Millions that year.

How to Play Mega Millions GA Lottery:
You need to get a playslip for Mega Millions, there are playslips available online. Each playslip allows you to play up
to 5 plays per drawing at $1 per play. Choose five numbers from 1 to 56 in the upper shaded play area and choose one
Mega Ball (MB) number from 1 to 46 in the lower white play area or select the Quik Pik option. Check your playslip
carefully to make sure you have correctly marked the numbers you want before presenting it to the retailer. Sign the
back of the ticket so no one but you can claim the prize amount. You are responsible for the accuracy of your ticket.

There are 9 ways to win. Matching only the Mega Ball number, or the Mega Ball plus 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers, or
matching from 1 to 5 numbers without the Mega Ball. If you match the 5 numbers and the Mega Ball you hit
the jackpot. The jackpot prize pool will be divided equally among multiple winners. The prize will be paid in 26 annual
